Memorial quilts are quilts made to memorialize a persons life or life events. These can be made as quilts, wall hangings or as pillows. I have examples shown here of ones I have made and given as gifts or custom made for others. Some were made from clothing I received from relatives of deceased individuals that were made into memorial quilts and/or pillows. Some are also known as T Shirt quilts that show a persons life memories. Numerous embellishments and decorative aspects can be added to these quilts as needed. One quilt back shows a scouts shirt with badges attached. I will work directly with you on design and layout, so that these quilts reflect memories of a life time present or gone by. They make wonderful gifts. Each would be priced individually according to size and complexity. I would provide the batting, backing and any sashing or additional materials needed to hold everything together along with a hanging sleeve if needed.
